Open Door's volunteers are special people! 

Open Door is blessed with many dedicated men and women who volunteer at Open Door on a regular, occasional or "as needed" basis.  Without their help, Open Door would not be able to provide the level of services we offer to the community.  If you would like to volunteer, we would love for you to spend some time with us.

Upcoming volunteer opportunities for Fall Special Events:

• Fall Festival (usually at the end of October)

• Thanksgiving Banquet (third Thursday in November)

• Sharing Christmas (sorting, inventorying donations, helping parents "shop" for their children's gifts)

Areas of opportunity:

• Tutoring in the after-school program

• Showering Program

• Arts and crafts

• Recreational leadership

• Clothing Bank - sorting, folding, hanging clothing and waiting on customers

• Sponsoring the "Golden Agers" Club

• Volunteering to assist with the Golden Agers Club

• Assist with various bulk mailings (labeling, folding and stuffing envelopes)

• Special events
