Circles Program Facilitator and Coach
Program: Circles in Columbus
Organization: Open Door Community House, Inc.
You will make a life-long impact in the lives of under-resourced families by connecting them to resources, building personal relationships (social capital), providing one-to-one coaching, and facilitating powerful group conversations in weekly Circles meetings.
Open Door is a 90-year-old faith-based nonprofit whose mission is to empower impoverished people in our community to reach their full potential as children of God by creating long-term solutions to poverty.
As the Coach/Program Facilitator
You are the person who is most directly involved with the Circle Leaders (those currently living in poverty) and their Allies (volunteers who support the work of the Circle Leader and become their strongest cheerleader). Through these relationships, bridging and bonding social capital is expanded, allowing the Circle Leader to connect to new people and resources as they accomplish goals to fulfill their dreams.
You have an opportunity to coach - assist and guide – people in their quest to achieve their personal goals for stability working one on one and in group settings
You, as a Circles team member, will receive introductory and ongoing training with the national Circles® USA team. This is in addition to working closely with the Circles in Columbus Program Director.
